Pet Sitting
(Home location varies call for quote, prices may change at any time)


Clipper Rental with Grooming Kit:
$75 for 24 hours. Anything over 24 hours is additional day (s).  Have credit card and state I.D. or passport at dropoff.  A $100 deposit is needed and refunded after return of all equipment in same condition as rented.  If clippers are damaged, fee is rental fee plus cost of item at $234.95 +tax and you will be given the clipper to keep and have serviced. Damaged blade fees are the current price of a blade, check that daily rate, average $26 per blade.  If you have never used a clipper, I advise booking a clipper training class first at $50 for one hour.  You are renting the clipper and it's parts and you are 100% responsible and you hold no liability to My Favorite Groomer LLC or Dede Croy for any damages done to yourself or any pet.  My Favorite Groomer LLC is not responsible for ANY human or pet related injuries you do to your pet or others pets.  Dede always recommends 3 year minimum training and working in pet industry to be a groomer. 

You will received, the Andis 5 speed or Andis 2 speed clipper, two 10 blades which is a military buzz cut, attachment combs, Andis Clipper Spray with this rental.  

Rental of other products is available; table, dryer and more, please inquire.  Fees may change based on your rental agreement.

Groom Costs
Internet and Phone Quotes are just that; a quote.  Not seeing your pet it's hard to give you a guaranteed cost of 
grooming.  Costs are based on the address that we are arriving at, the size of pet, consistency of grooms, hair and coat condition, matting, flea situation, & temperament of pet.  Package includes Bath, Hair Brushing, Ears Cleaned, Toe Nails Trimmed, & Hair Cut.  

 

Bathe Your Own Pet Available (only available when we have a brick and mortar, in 2025, we are only mobile grooming at this time.

It takes a lot of work to groom pets.  Sometimes it's not the exact hair cut that we want but it might be the best cut for the pet in the situation that pet was brought in.  Keep this in mind when viewing the photos,  each pet groom has it's own scenario.  Whether the pet was neglected and seriously matted or the pet just got rescued.  Either way having a clean and healthy pet is completely a great feeling when accomplished!

Grooming Add-On Menu

 

Ala Carte - We will do any Ala Carte on any services you need; face trim only, feet only, Face Feet & Sanitary Packages Only, Ear Plucking Only, etc.  Ask for quote.

 

Upgraded Shampoo     We use the best. Organic, Vegan, & Tea Tree Shampoo &/or Conditioner, this is included in the rate and we use what we feel is best, our favorite is the combo of rainforest shampoo and conditioner.  Using this the scent can last the longest.  If you have a request, let us know in advance. There is no extra charge for this upgrade.  But, we would love your support if you can buy these products from us as well.  Then, you can have them onhand for services.

Conditioner                                        $0 If you have a separate request for a particular conditioner be sure you voice this at booking or prior to our arrival to ensure we have it onboard on the day of services.  We use conditioner free of charge

Tooth gel application                          I believe most folks do not do regular brush cleaning often enough to refrain from the gums bleeding profusely when a groomer like myself does a brushing, therefore, we do not do this service, we recommend you do this one or two times per day or not at all.  See a veterinarian for a dental cleaning.  Brushing teeth and getting blood is horrible for the dogs health.


Fancy Bows                                         We sell some hand made bows.  We can sell those to you and put them on for $5. Check the handmade section.  If you are not taking bows off and brushing the hair to avoid matting and tangles, I don't recommend bows or feathers.


Ear Flushing                                       Basic ear cleaning is included with services.  If the ear is really compact with debree, the charge could be higher, we stop what we are doing and send you a message or a photo or both. The higher rates means a lot of product needs to be used to clean properly.  When the ear is in this kind of health, we also recommend the groomer avoid touching them and have you go straight to a veterinarian.  But, if you are unable to do that unable to afford it or need to wait, we are happy to continue the cleaning and or flushing afterwards for a separate fee.  Starts at $25

 
Anal Gland Expression (internal)       Estimate $50 mobile at your home within 6 miles of 76179 higher if farther (Vet trained)
Toe Nail Trim or Grinding                  Any services are based on address of home as we are only mobile.  If dog is mean or hard to trim nails, grinding nails should not be an option on first nail trim experience.  Within 6 miles of 76179, good dog, will not bite for nail grinding, under 15# estimate $50 for nail trim at your home. larger than 15# and good dog estimate $75.  A dog that is hard to manage within 6 miles starts at $100.


Shave Only Grooms starts at             In 2025 I am only mobile grooming this is based only our address, demeanor of pet, if the pet is matted.  This is a phone call.  Based on a good dog that will not bite for grooming 15# within 6 miles of 76179 estimat $125.
 

Flea Charges vary by size                   Flea charges do apply for any fleas found on a dog or cat that are in our salon if we are in one or in our mobile unit. Rates start at $75 and go up. Why, because flea eggs can last up to three years in the environment.  I also close the salon or mobile unit for 3 days after a flea positive dog or cat is in the room.  Preventing anyone else from getting fleas.  This is a very expensive problem for pet owners and in 22 years nothing vegan or organic has killed fleas except pesticide.  I don't want to use more pesticide in my lifetime than I have to, so I need dog owners to take responsibility to prevent the spread.


Dry Skin / Allergy soak /                   
Medicated Soak (small pets)               I don't do this any more, you can ask me about it, some medicated shampoos have been toxic and caused harm to me and my skin. Read and study ingredients of the medicated shampoos even prescribed to see if you are sure you even want to handle it, if you don't you may consider a different alternative for your pets skin care.
