I founded My Favorite Groomer because of the excitement, joy, and love I have for pets. I wanted to provide service alike others but different in my own personal way. I love what I do and you can tell! I provide competitive pricing, a convenient way to have your furry family member groomed and cared for all while developing a relationship with you, the pet owner. My goal is for pet parents to feel confident that their pet is in, caring and reliable hands. My services are MUCH different than those of any other salon I have seen. I offer one hour grooms (with pick up 30 minutes after completion and based on size) eliminating the hardship of your pet being caged for hours. I also give out many discounts that I offer irregularly through the year. You'll love being spoiled here (I like surprises too you know and appreciate tips). As part of my business practise, I discuss any findings on your pet with you before you leave and make any suggestions in regards to the health of your pet to keep you informed (during and after the groom). I truly love what I do.

Dede's Short Personal Biography
My name is Dede. I grew up in a United States Air Force (USAF) family and have lived in all parts of the world from Japan to California. I enlisted in the USAF right out of High School in 1995. It also took me to places around the world like Germany and Guam. I got out of the AF in 2000. It wasn't long before I lived my life long dream of entering my Custom Show Truck into car competitions. I moved to Denver, CO where this type of activity was well publicized. I placed third in the Low Rider Car Dance competition in 2000. Soon after I moved to the big "Mile High" my wonderful dream was devastated. My competition show truck was stolen from my home. I moved to Fort Worth, TX in 2003. Since I've been here I have grown closer to the Lord more than ever. With my move to Texas I found my passion working with pets. I worked for a couple different pet industry employers when I finally decided to start my own pet grooming business. I graduated college in 2005 with a Bachelor's in International Business. In Sept. 2008 I decided that my work with pets was growing and I resigned from my Federal job. So, now my full time committment is with my business. I am still inactive with the USAFR. I am the President of the FAAToastmasters club # 6102 and enjoy speaking (www.d25toastmasters.org). Other fullfillments; I enjoy traveling, dancing, writing, riding my motorcycle, spending time with friends, and enjoying the little time left I have with my pets and family.
